Soham is one of the largest and fastest-growing market towns in East Cambridgeshire, with a population of over 12,300. It sits just off the A142 between Ely and Newmarket, and in December 2021, Soham got its railway station back after 56 years — reconnecting the town to the rail network with direct services towards Ely and Peterborough.
The town is about to grow significantly. The Soham Eastern Gateway — a 540-home development approved in 2024 — will bring a new medical centre, nursery, community hub with shops, and over six hectares of public open space. It's expected to generate 159 jobs during construction alone. Population forecasts show Soham South growing by over 30% by 2031.
The local economy is anchored by agriculture and food processing — G's, one of the UK's largest fresh produce companies, is headquartered nearby — alongside a growing mix of trades, construction, retail, and professional services. The town has a strong community identity and a High Street that still functions as a genuine local centre.
For Soham businesses, the combination of population growth, new infrastructure, and a reopened railway station means more customers arriving from more directions. A website that ranks for Soham searches puts you in front of both existing residents and the wave of new arrivals.
We're based in March — about 18 miles north-west via the A142. We work with businesses across East Cambridgeshire and understand the growth dynamics of towns like Soham. Local search competition here is low, which means a well-optimised site can rank quickly.
A lot of the web design agencies that rank for "web design Soham" are based miles away — in Cambridge, Norwich, or further afield. They create a Soham page by swapping the town name into a template. We're different because we actually work with businesses across Cambridgeshire every day, and we build our websites with local search in mind from the start.
Every site we build is:
Every package includes responsive design, basic SEO setup, and a site that's genuinely yours — no subscriptions, no lock-in.
A sharp, single-page site perfect for launching a new product, capturing leads, or establishing your online presence.
The go-to for most Soham small businesses. Enough space to tell your story properly with a professional multi-page layout.
For established businesses that need more depth — service pages, team profiles, galleries, and everything in between.
A complete online shop with product management, secure payments, and everything you need to start selling.
Our websites start from £320 for a single-page landing site, £620 for a multi-page small business site (up to 5 pages), £1,020 for a medium site (up to 10 pages), and £1,870 for a full e-commerce store. Every package includes responsive design, basic SEO, and no ongoing subscriptions or lock-in contracts. You pay once and own the site outright.
A single-page landing site is typically delivered in 5–7 working days. Multi-page sites take 2–4 weeks depending on the number of pages and complexity. E-commerce builds usually take 4–6 weeks to account for product setup, payment integration, and testing. We'll give you a clear timeline before we start.
We're based in March, about 18 miles from Soham via the A142. We work with businesses across East Cambridgeshire and can meet in person when needed.
Every site we build includes on-page SEO fundamentals — optimised page titles, meta descriptions, heading structure, image alt text, mobile responsiveness, and fast load times. These give your site the best possible starting point. For businesses that want to actively compete for local search visibility, we also offer dedicated SEO services to build rankings over time.
Yes. With the Eastern Gateway bringing 540 new homes and thousands of new residents, demand for local trades, services, retail, and hospitality will increase. Businesses with a strong online presence will capture that demand first.
For most small business sites, we use WordPress because it's flexible, easy to update, and well-supported. For e-commerce, we work with WooCommerce and Shopify. For businesses with more complex needs, we build custom solutions using PHP and modern frameworks. We'll always recommend the right platform for your goals and budget.
We're based in March, but we work with businesses across the region.
A website is the foundation — but it's not the whole picture.
